In the year 2015 we began our design label. During its inception, COMPLIMENT served as an experimental design & sound journal to SVNX & Friends. With no real intention of or direction to become a brand — our primary focus was to create genuine quality products, build our network, drive inspiration from newfound passions and experiences. While also digging deep into our roots, focusing on core elements that make us visionaries.

In a year of global pandemic, unstable economic conditions, racial tension — there were several obstacles for many independent businesses. During the year 2020, COMPLIMENT was due to undergo a completely new approach to production and distribution. From new design practices on new short stocked garments, creating our first range of handmade garments, as well as Studio developed 1of1 pieces.
After the murder of George Floyd, racial tension sparked nationwide. One location being our hometown Columbus, OH. Resulting in city riots as well as public assembly for protests that gained worldwide attention.
During these wild times, we teamed up with Sole Classics to bring a sense of community with the use of peace, love and design. Consisting of some of our most sought after pieces such as the "FUCK12" & "GUNS AND DRUGS" T-Shirts. Symbolizing the American corruption many of us experience.
